Where did it all start?
Cambodia Action is a UK based, evangelical, inter-denominational mission and development agency, founded in 1973 by Major Taing Chhirc of the Cambodian Evangelical Church. This was brought about when Major Taing Chhirc spoke at the Keswick Convention in 1973 issuing a challenging call to raise awareness and prayer for his country. Out of which grew Cambodia Action. Chhirc was killed for his faith when Phnom Penh fell to the Khmer Rouge in April 1975.
Cambodia Action is a member of Global Connections in the United Kingdom.
Cambodia Action is the operating name of British registered charity Southeast Asian Outreach (No 293382).
